Here's our first email from Rylee at the MTC - January 29, 2014.

Hey,

So its P-day and my companion, Sister Moore and I are in the laundry room and there are computers here so we can email friends and family while we wait for them to finish. I got your Dear Elders and Dad's made me cry...Way to go dad, made me cry over a cereal bowl. Gotta stop, tearing up a bit. And my sister training leader said i have a letter to reminder her to give me. I hope its your letter with my call card. Well, my district is all sisters and we are all going to the same mission. Kinda cool, right? Oh my gosh the guy next to me is wearing shorts and its raining and cold outside! Fureal?! Today we get new missionaries and we get two new districts added to our zone. Any way, we went to the temple today and it was pretty awesome.

My companion and i have so much in common! We both have sarcastic bratty sisters :P lol have 4 siblings, raised in the military, only difference really is she is musical and i am athletic. Speaking of which i was playing basketball yesterday and kicked the ball a few times and now it hurts so i think me and soccer might have to break up. no bueno.../: I'm wearing my brace though! Oh i had to use my card to buy some more outfits cuz i realized i dont have high enough neck lines on some shirts and need a shirt for my orange skirt. Oh did grandma and grandpa get my glasses???

Well the spirit is strong here and its been awesome. The first 2 meetings we had with our PI (Progressing Investigator) Justin didnt go so well but we realized that we didnt introduce ourselves and get to know him and thats why it didnt go so well. We role played and we totally changed our perspective and were able to feel the spirit. We also have a TRC (Teaching Resource Center) and she is soooo cute!!! She is wanting to know whether or not God loves her and how he can be a just God. She is a social worker and sees a lot of bad things happening. She wonders who can the kids turn to and if they answer their prayers. I said you were an answer to their prayers. you are the love Heavenly Father shows to them. I think it really helped her. Well i think other people need the computer. Love you and cant wait to hear from you in about two weeks. Next week we wont have Pday...bummer.../:
